''Tyler Matthew Young was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois and now resides in Los Angeles, California. He starred as Philip Shea in the GLAAD award winning USA Network limited series Eyewitness (2016), directed by Catherine Hardwicke and co-starring Julianne Nicholson. He will star in the upcoming Dimension Films and Weinstein Company horror film Polaroid (2017), opposite Kathryn Prescott.

While starting out in Chicago, he appeared in guest roles on episodes of Fox's Empire(2015) and NBC's Chicago Fire (2012). He has since guest starred in the CBS medical drama series Code Black (2015), and in the acclaimed ABC limited series When We Rise (2017), directed by Gus Van Sant.'' (via IMDB)
